Luis Aparicio is a Venezuelan former professional baseball player. He was one of the most dominant shortstops of MLB in his era. He played for the White Sox, Orioles, and Red Sox. He won the 1956 American League (AL) Rookie of the Year Award. He helped lead the "Go-Go" White Sox to the 1959 American League Pennant and was the AL Most Valuable Player (MVP) runner-up.
