Scott Rolen is a former pro baseball third baseman. He played 17 seasons in MLB for the Phillies, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Reds. A seven-time All-Star, Rolen started his career with the Phillies, where he was named the 1997 National League Rookie of the Year. Regarded as one of the best defensive third basemen of all time, Rolen won eight Gold Glove Awards over his career, the fourth-most among third basemen.
